Our Heritage

The Ramakrishna Mission, founded by Swami Vivekananda in 1897, is a spiritual organization based on the universal teachings of Sri Ramakrishna (1836-1886) and his wife Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi.

The Singerkone branch of the Ramakrishna Mission was established with the noble objective of serving humanity through spiritual, educational, and social service activities. Our center embodies the same principles that guide all Ramakrishna Mission centers worldwide: service to humanity as worship of God.

Our Philosophy

We believe in the inherent divinity of every soul and work towards the harmonious development of human personality. Our activities are guided by the principle that service to man is service to God.
